I am Stevie Smith, and I am honored to have been elected as your current Precinct 3 Commissioner of Shelby County. Over the past 3years, we have made much progress. My crew has constantly worked to improve our roads, drainage, and bridges for a reliable road system for our school buses, postal workers, first responders, and citizens of Precinct 3.

My crew is an outstanding group of hard-working, dedicated, and dependable people. Our priority is always the safety of our children and citizens. We have also worked to address any issues promptly.

I have had the privilege of working with the other commissioners and our county judge in making sound decisions and policies for our county government.

The knowledge and experience I have gained from 40 years of running my businesses, including owning and operating heavy equipment and trucks and repairing and maintaining oilfield roads, has aided in managing and responsible spending within the county designated for the prescient three budget.

I have enjoyed working for the people of Shelby County; if re-elected, we will continue to improve. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue working productively with my crew in Pct. 3. Lastly, I will run a clean campaign and only wish to do what will positively impact Shelby County. I have always leaned on my Christian faith throughout my career to keep me focused, stay hopeful, and positively influence others.
