Center Council issues street closures for upcoming events
The Center City Council voted unanimously to award the Animal Trust Fund created from the disbanded PAWS organization to Happy Tails Adoption Center. PAWS dissolved in October 2014, and the funds were initially placed in trust for the City in a CD account but, according to Chad Nehring, Center City Manager, was later moved to a higher-interest-yield account.
