A plate lunch and raffle fundraiser is planned for August 18 to aid in medical expenses for Shelby County Sheriff Kevin Windham who was placed on a double lung transplant list June 21.
An account has been established at Farmers State Bank. Donations can be made at any branch. The account is listed under Kevin Windham Fundraiser.
Lunches for the fundraiser lunch will include chicken leg quarters (prepared by the Shelby County Cookers), potato salad, beans, bread, homemade dessert and a drink for $10.
