East Texas Poultry Festival Creative Arts Committee Plans Creative Arts Show

The 47th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival will be featuring local Creative Arts through the annual Creative Arts Show, sponsored by Ray Jones Chevrolet, along with a Can-A-Rama featuring local canned goods. Don’t miss this opportunity to show your handiwork in art, quilting, canning, crafts, woodworking and metal art.

All creative arts divisions have several classes of judging categories and are open to Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th grade), Youth (6th through 12th grade) and Adults that will be judged in separate divisions. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three places in each category along with a sweepstakes rosette for top point winner in all divisions.

Creative Arts entry forms and fees must be delivered to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Gym Building between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18th to Friday, September 29th. All entries will be displayed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 on Thursday, October 5th and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th.
