Cypress Bend Resort has become a Platinum Level sponsor of the 20th Annual Toledo Bend Lake
Association (TBLA) Bass Unlimited – Back A Great Fighter Banquet and Auction Fundraiser. Platinum
Level Sponsors provide support to TBLA valued at $5,000 to $9,999. Randy Rolland, General Manager of
Cypress Bend, commented, “TBLA has long been an active community non-profit organization that
focuses on the enhancement of Toledo Bend Lake and the surrounding communities. We both
recognize how important our Lake is to the economic welfare of all the surrounding areas of Louisiana
and Texas. We are pleased to be a major sponsor of TBLA’s annual banquet and fundraiser.” The
banquet is being held at Cypress Bend Pavilion on April 21, with more than 600 people expected to
attend.
Cypress Bend Resort is a hidden treasure located along the eastern border of Toledo Bend Lake in
Sabine Parish. The resort includes dining and conference facilities capable of hosting major events and a
world class golf course currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation. The reopening of the
course is expected to occur in mid-July of this year and will be the “Crown Jewel” of the Audubon Golf
Trail. The resort includes 95 hotel rooms and suites along with one and two-bedroom condominium-
style golf suites with a living room and full kitchen. The resort is one of the Wyndham Hotel chain’s
premier facilities.
Tickets to the TBLA banquet are available for purchase although the event typically sells out well before

5 PM with multiple raffle prize packages, silent and live auction items and a catered bbq dinner
and bottomless cup. Included in the live auction will be golf/accommodation weekend packages and a
one-year membership to the newly renovated golf course at Cypress Bend.
