Fundraiser and Raffle for Sheriff Kevin Windham

Mark your calendar for August 18! A plate lunch, bake sale and raffle fundraiser for Sheriff Kevin Windham will take place at the old Center First United Pentecostal Church Fellowship Hall located on Hwy 96 N in Center.

Plate lunches are $10 and consist of chicken leg quarters (prepared by the Shelby County Cookers), beans, potato salad, homemade dessert and a drink. Pre order sign-up forms are available at the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Plate lunches will be ready for purchase/pickup at 10:30 a.m. Orders of eight or more are available for delivery.

Raffle tickets are going fast! This is one raffle you do not want to miss. Up for grabs is $1,000 CASH, two guns, $1,000 worth of services provided by April Prince Law, LLC, $200 credit from Despino Tire, a porch swing, a designer purse, gift cards, a cooler, two electric desks and much more. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. Tickets can be purchased at the Sheriff's Office or Southern Lemonade Boutique on the square in Center.

Sheriff Windham was recently listed on the UNOS list for a double lung transplant. All proceeds from this fundraiser will help with expenses prior to, during and after the transplant.
