Lyn Logan, 80, originally from Long Island, NY

Subhead

Lyn Logan, 80, originally from Long Island, NY, was a hand-holding romantic. She loved her family, friends, and church. She was a loved grandma and will be missed by her 12 grandchildren. Along with her husband Harry, she was a strong servant to her community through the ministries of the Methodist Church. She tirelessly organized many blood drives for Center Hospital while it was part of the community. Lyn was an avid collector and resale enthusiast through her small business “The Mustard Room” shop she had with Harry. She loved to bake, and she served up the best egg sandwich when it was time to send family on their way. She enjoyed life to the fullest and had a strong will to do things her own way. The family would like to give special thanks to her dear friend Jim Braiden who was very kind and loving to her in the last two years of her life. We would also like to thank Lakeside Assisted Living for their care which allowed Lyn to maintain her independence for as long as she could. We give thanks to Pine Grove Nursing Center for providing Lyn with a place to transition, as well as Affinity Hospice for making Lyn’s final days a time of dignity and compassion.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery Abinette and wife Lisa, Timothy Abinette and wife Carol, Christopher Logan and wife Annette; daughter, Amy Logan-Ditolla and husband Clyde; brother, Ricky Lawrence; sister, Katherine Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Lyn is preceded by her husband, Harry Logan; and parents, Chester and Carolyn Lawrence.
