On Monday, December 11, the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department held its annual Officer Election to determine who would serve leadership of the department in 2024.

Over the week of October 15 - 21 the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department had five calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events. Sunday at 2:19 p.m. a call came in for a person having a panic attack in their car on Highway 84 East.

JVFD October 8 -14 Report

Over the week of October 8 - 14 the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to 7 calls. Here’s a summary of the week’s events.  Monday at 4:42 p.m. a call came in for a fire starting in the woods near County Road 3822. The JVFD responded to put out the fire before it became a bigger issue.
