The 47th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank, starts tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Today at 4:00 p.m., San Augustine Street between the Payne building and Light and Champion will be closed as well as Austin Street from the Probation Office to Citizens Bank.

Only 30 days left until the 47th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank, opens its gates to a weekend of fun, entertainment, arts, crafts and food back on the downtown square! The Cutting of the Feathers will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m.

Chicken Fajita Lunch and Doo Dah Parade September 27

The Annual Poultry Festival Chicken Fajita Lunch, sponsored by East Texas Poultry Supply will be on Wednesday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Fire Department. According to Chairman Bryan Wages, the lunch includes two chicken fajitas, chips, salsa and a drink for $8.

Help us kick off the 6th Annual Poultry Festival Car and Motorcycle Show and Shine sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance. The Show and Shine will be held on Saturday, October 7, as a part of the Poultry Festival Saturday activities. It will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Shelby County Outreach Ministries has raffle tickets for sale!  We are doing our annual ATV Raffle to raise money to help feed the hungry and assist the needy in Shelby County. A Kawasaki Mule 4x4 will be raffled off on Saturday, October 7, which is the last day of the East Texas Poultry Festival.
