Robert Earl Grace
Robert Earl Grace went to sleep on the morning of June 6, 2020, in his home in Livingston, TX. Robert was born to Clinton & Josie Mae (Fulsom) Grace on December 28, 1946, the youngest of 11 children. He was born in Galveston, TX, but moved to Center, TX when he was 14, where he met Doris Oliver in 1964. They were married the following year, on Aug 21, 1965. They were blessed with three children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was a man of compassion, who would do whatever he could to help anyone. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting until health prevented him from continuing. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and 9 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of Livingston. His daughter, Sharon Grace of Livingston (Granddaughter Kari, Great Grandchildren: Dustin, Jordan, Serenity, Zane), daughter Stephanie and Jason Armstrong of Arkansas City, KS (Granddaughter Erin Talkington & husband Tommy, Grandsons Matthew Brobst and Caleb Armstrong), and Jonathan & Jamie Grace of Livingston (Granddaughters Haliegh & Makenna, Grandsons Jon Michael, Jacob, & Liam), his brother Bobby Joe Grace, his nephew Wayne Pennington, as well as many other nieces and nephews, best friend Freddy Friedrichs and longtime friends Ernie and Glatha Harrison of Livingston as well the Livingston TX congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Robert became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1971. He had a firm hold on the belief Jesus promised of a paradise Earth and a resurrection of dead loved ones. His family holds dearly that hope now as they await that time.
Robert will be laid to rest in Restland Cemetery in Tenaha, TX.
