Glenda Faye Bowlin Kaura, 78, of Shelbyville

Glenda Faye Bowlin Kaura, 78, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018, at her residence.

 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Rusty Hall officiating.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

 

Mrs. Kaura was born January 20, 1940, in Tenaha, to Jesse Dean Bowlin and Reba Irene Philips Bowlin.  She retired from Joaquin ISD after 32 years of teaching.  Her hobbies included playing the piano and helping others in any way she saw necessary. She was involved in and supported numerous fundraisers throughout her community.  Mrs. Kaura loved her Lord and served Him as a faithful member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years. 

 

She is survived by
