Center resident perishes in fire

    At 6:17 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31st, units of the Center Police Department were dispatched to Noble St. in Center to investigate an unattended death. 

    In what is now being termed an accident, according to Shelby County District Attorney Karren Price, a Center resident was discovered to have perished in a tragic incident after becoming trapped underneath a burn barrel.
