Shelby County Historical Museum sets Tuesday, Sept. 18 program

Historian Bill O'Neal to discuss Texas' role in WW II

The Speaker for the Tuesday, Sept. 18 meeting of the Shelby County Historical Museum will be Bill O'Neal, the author of more than 40 books.

O'Neal will be speaking on Texas in WWI. The program will consist of interviews that he had students do of people that they knew who were in WWI back a while ago when he was teaching History at Panola College.

The public is invited to attend. Meeting begins at 2 pm. Museum is located at 230 Pecan St., behind First Baptist Church.
