Brittany Celine Barber, 30 of Joaquin found by SCSO and Joaquin Constable
The Shelby County Sheriff’s is seeking the whereabouts of Brittany Celine Barber, 30, of Joaquin. Barber is described as a 5’4” white female and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes. Barber has two active felony warrants for Endangering a Child (SJF) and POCS (F-3).
The SCSO is seeking assistance of the public with locating Barber. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the SCSO (936) 598-5601.
If anyone is found to be hindering the apprehension, harboring or concealing, providing or aiding with any means of avoiding arrest or effecting escape, or warns Barber of impending discovery or apprehension, will be arrested and charged in accordance to Penal Code 38.05 Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution, a Felony 3 offense.
Brittany Barber was arrested Friday, May 4, 2018 in Joaquin. Constable Pct. 2, Roy Cheatwood received information on Barber’s whereabouts and was able to locate her. Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michael Griffin assisted in the arrest.
Barber was booked into the Shelby County jail on warrants for POCS (F-3) $15,000 bond and Abandoning/Endangering a Child (SJF) $10,000 bond. Barber posted bonds and was released May 6, 2018.
