Oct. 5 is National Bring Your Bible to School Day
Thursday, Oct. 5 is the annual Bring Your Bible to School Day sponsored by Focus on the Family. More than 500,000 students from private and public schools across America participate in the event.
Interested students are asked to bring their Bible to school and to express verbally or in written form their belief in God's Word to fellow students during legally permitted times like before and after school and during times that are not part of instruction, classroom or activity times.
This is a voluntary and self-directed activity, meaning it’s completely up to students, Christian clubs and youth groups to sign up online and then lead the activities in their school.
