The descendants of William Humphries will gather for the thirty-sixth annual reunion in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Center on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
William married Mary Ann Barr while they lived in England. They settled in Shelby County in 1874 where they raised six children. Four years after Mary Ann's death, William married Ellen Eliza McCauley. William and Ellen had eight children. William helped with the work on the Shelby County courthouse and old county jail. Attendees are asked to bring covered dishes and a nominal gift for a fun gift exchange after the meal.
