Timpson Christmas Parade theme was "Christmas In Texas"

Holiday parade held Saturday morning, Dec. 14 in downtown Timpson

The top winning float in Saturday's Timpson Christmas Parade was an entry by Josh Tipton for Constable featuring a jailed Grinch.

The second place entry was from Hopkins Wrecker featuring a classic souped up hotrod driven by The Grinch. Taking third place honors was a military backhoe entry from Nick and Chris Walker.

Timpson Christmas Parade was held Saturday morning, Dec. 14 on a route beginning at the Timpson ISD school complex and circling downtown.

This year’s theme was "Christmas in Texas." This Christmas Parade is a joint venture with Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Timpson, Timpson High School, Timpson Volunteer Fire Department, Timpson Volunteer Ambulance Service and local stores and businesses.

Organizers wished to provide a special thanks to Joyce Moore and Marilyn Corder for making it happen.

There were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trophies that will best fit this year’s theme, Christmas in Texas.
