Riders tennis team takes District title

The Center Tennis program wrapped up the Fall District Schedule Monday night, Oct. 7, with a 18-1 victory over the Hudson Hornets to improve their overall record to 12 wins and 1 loss as a team heading into the playoffs.

Center claims the District 20 title and the playoffs may look like the following for the Bi-District round.

• District 20 (Center #1) vs District 19 (Mexia #4??)

• District 20 (Hudson #2 ) vs District 19 (#3 Madisonville??)

• District 20 (Carthage #3) vs District 19 (#2 Palestine??)

=The Bi-District and Area rounds will be played next week.

Center vs Mexia tentatively on 10/14 in Jacksonville – 4 p.m. More details should be availab le by the end of this week.

Area - 10/17 potentially vs Gatesville (District 18#3) at Madisonville.
