Trunk-or-Treat draws a Halloween night crowd

Center's First United Methodist Church hosted a large group from the community as part of their annual Halloween Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Faythe Abraham, the church's Director of Children and Youth Ministry estimated there were at least 400 that came in the hour and a half of Halloween festivities.

A people's choice vote selected winners for those who decorated a trunk to give away candy. Those results will be released later.

It was a free family-friendly event which included lots of fun activities, food, and trick-or-treating in the church parking lot.

Trick-or-treating youngsters, their parents and other family members were welcomed creative decorated trunks, some friendly games and food — along with lots of candy.
