Lions Club's Danny Foster Memorial Fundraiser features chances on 2019 Chevy Extended Cab Pickup

Lions Club has reinvested more than $1 million back into the community and for Lions projects over past 30 years

The Center Noon Lions Club has announced it's 27th annual vehicle raffle — the Danny Foster Memorial Fundraiser.

This year the club will raffle a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab Pickup Truck provided by Ray Jones Chevrolet and the drawing to be held Oct. 5, at the 43rd Annual East Texas Poultry Festival.

Donations are $100 per ticket and only 600 tickets will be sold, club members said.

Tickets are available from any Center Noon Lions Club member. The first ticket drawn will win the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado pickup provided by Ray Jones Chevrolet and the next four tickets drawn will receive $250 each.

Through their humanitarian efforts from fundraisers and donations, the Center Noon Lions Club locally supports charities, schools, children with vision and other challenges, as well as assisting with the building of local baseball and softball fields.

In the last 30 years of service to the community, the Center Noon Lions Club has raised and donated more than $1 million to Lions and local Projects.

They include:

• Lions Club Projects: $153,00.00 (14%)
• Local Eyeglasses: $176,000.00 (17%)
• Local Scholarships: $192,000.00 (18%)
• Local Civic Projects $ 548,000.00 (51%)
