Kalei LaRock takes grand champion honors at East Texas Poultry Festival Broiler Show; Lance Holloway is Reserve Grand Champion
East Texas Poultry Festival Broiler Show Judge Jacob Coppage on Saturday said the competition was tough and close but when all was said and done Kalei LaRock was named the show's 2019 Grand Champion.
Fellow Center FFA member Lance Holloway was the Reserve Grand Champion.
The sift start at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, with the show starting around 11 a.m.
Both the sift and show were at Raymond Motor Company’s Pavilion.
The Broiler Show Sale will be held at the Big Tent on the Square starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Last year’s Grand Champion Broiler was shown by Addison Lloyd. Borders Poultry purchased the Grand Champion.
The Reserve Champion was shown by Trista Britt and purchased by Farmer’s State Bank.

The public was invited to attend the events of the day and support the youth of our county.
