Center's New Gordmans Store Celebrates Grand Opening March 17
Center Bealls associates faced an immense challenge several weeks ago that changed the well-known retail store drastically. With only ten days to make the new store renovations; the store has made its shift into officially becoming Gordmans, offering the same products plus more. Gordmans, part of the Stage community of stores, is located in the old Bealls building across from Walmart and withholds an all new shopping experience for customers. The new store opened at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning with goodies and gift bags for their first 100 customers.
Like Bealls, the new Gordmans retail store offers clothes, shoes and accessories for genders of all ages; newborn to adult. What you will find in Gordmans that you’d never find in the old retail business, is a large section of designer clothes and accessories, home decoration, bedding, pillows and living room chairs, stools for your kitchen counters, cooking ware and much more. The store also offers a large variety of beauty and bath products and an updated "Beauty Bar" that you may remember from Bealls, snacks, designer clothes and accessories, and fine fragrances. The new store even carries beds, toys, snacks and accessories for your furry friends; both dog and cat! Another perk; Gordmans also offers shipment of Amazon orders to the in-store Amazon Counter for secure package pick-up.
Gordmans grand opening was Tuesday morning, March 17. The store’s grand opening was originally planned for a celebratory ribbon-cutting at 8:45 a.m. with the appearance of CHS Band. The stores decided to simply open the store to shoppers, without the celebration, for Coronavirus safety measures. The new Gordmans did not cancel the door prizes, store associates are giving free tote bags and scratch-off cards with a chance to win free gift cards to the first 100 customers.
