Library book sale set next week

Raffle chances being sold for Mardi Gras design quilt

There are no tricks, only treats, at the Fannie Brown Booth Library Fall Book Sale in Center, said Sandra Davis, library director.

The book sale will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 and continue until 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 during regular Library hours, she said.
“There are great selections of Christian fiction, mysteries, romance, science fiction, westerns, nonfiction and children's books,” Davis said. Paperbacks are 50 cents and hardbacks, $1.
“Raffle tickets for a beautiful quilt with Mardi Gras design are being sold now at the Library,” she said. The drawing for the quilt will be the last day of the book sale, Nov 3 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5.  All proceeds are used to purchase new books for the library, Davis said.
