CASA of Deep East Texas sets Jan. 18 fundraiser
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Deep East Texas organizers are encouraging public support for its annual CASA Royale Fundraiser at The Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Guests will enjoy Vegas-style casino games including craps, blackjack, roulette, and poker while listening to the smooth sounds of the SFA Jazz Band. Casino coins are exchanged for raffle tickets. Fajitas will be served and a cash bar will be available.
All proceeds go to support CASA of Deep East Texas.
Tickets are $50 each and include $250 in casino cash. Sponsorship packages available.

CASA of Deep East Texas was founded in 2006 by a group of citizens who saw a need CASA in the child welfare system in Nacogdoches County. CASA of Deep East Texas expanded their services to Shelby and San Augustine Counties in 2011.
In 2017, CASA of Deep East Texas served 276 children in Nacogdoches, Shelby and San Augustine counties and currently have 43 active volunteers.
CASA of Deep East Texas is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and is a member of the National and Texas CASA Associations. There are more than 1,000 CASA programs nationwide and 72 CASA programs in the state of Texas.
CASA of Deep East Texas recruits and trains volunteers from the community to advocate on behalf of children in foster care. CASA currently serves 186 children and needs the support of the community to continue its efforts to make sure that every child in foster care has a voice.
