Parker Chase Benefit held at Raymond Motors Friday
Today Raymond Motors hosted a benefit Friday for Parker Chase.
"Recently, Parker was put on the liver transplant list," Parent Leah Chase said.
"We are having a fundraiser for Parker to help offset any expenses that we will incur in the hospital. I have no idea what the actual cost of the operation is. Thankfully, we have insurance that will help offset some of those costs, but what the insurance won't cover, we'll take care of in the long run."
Parker was diagnosed with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis Type II, which is a rare condition that affects the liver, when she was 9 months old.
"Thanks to everyone who has come out today to support Parker," Chase said. "We appreciate your support and prayers for this family. "
The BBQ lunch was prepared by Nutt 5 BBQ, and will include baked beans, potato salad, BBQ and dessert.
Monetary donations can be made at American State Bank to Parker's ARMY Benefit Account.
