Shelby County under tornado watch until 11 p.m. Wedneday, May 8

National Weather Service says 13 counties, including San Augustine, Sabine, Panola, Nacogdoches and Shelby are included

The National Weather Service on Wednesday afternoon reported that Shelby County and several other Texas counties and Louisiana parishes are under a tornado watch until 11 p.m., May 8.

Among those East Texas countiles are San Augustine, Panola, Nacogdoches, Sabine and Shelby.

A flash flood watch is also in effect until 7 a.m. Thursday with between 2 inches and 4 inches of rain in the forecast.
