Living history program focuses on Civil War soldier's daily life
Mansfield State Historic Site will host a living history talk at 2 p.m. May 25 highlighting the life of the average Civil War soldier in the field.
The living history talk will begin at 2 p.m. and will center on the typical uniform and equipment soldiers wore and carried in the field. A musket loading and firing demonstration by the park ranger will be included in the talk.
