SHELBY COUNTY – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to
a report of a two vehicle crash early this morning on US 96, about seven miles
south of Center.
Multiple victims were transported from a two vehicle wreck scene at FM 699 and Loop 500 in Center which was reported about 2:22 pm Friday.
Center first responders were on the crash scene Wednesday morning of a pickup truck running into a house on Hurst Street.
Shelbyville area resident Brandi Hodges was in the wrong place at the exact wrong time on Friday.
No injuries were reported Monday afternoon when a trailer reportedly carrying salt water came loose from the truck towing it at the intersection of CR 1211 and Texas High
