Center PD fish fry fundraiser May 18 for Officer Acuna

The Center Police Department Ladies Auxiliary will host a Fish Fry Fundraiser Saturday, May 18, 2024, for Officer Luis Acuna. Officer Acuna had emergency surgery in March, and will have follow up surgery in May. The fish fry is to help raise funds for medical costs. Hours for the fish fry will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold-out at the Center Police Department at 1020 Shelbyville Street. Drive-thru pick up will be available.

Plates will be $10 and will include fish, fries, hushpuppies, and a drink. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Center Police Department, or by contacting a CPD Ladies Auxiliary member.

In addition to the fish fry, the CPD Ladies Auxiliary will also be selling raffle tickets for three drawings to win great prizes.

First Prize is a guided fishing trip for two. A $350 value donated by Toledo Guide Service & Cabin Rental and Matthews Realty, a 55-gallon lifetime cooler from Walmart, Case pocket knife from Loop 500 Feed, fishing lures and bait from Covington’s Lumber.

Second Prize is two concert tickets to Stevie Nicks live at The Frost on May 18, $100 Walmart card from New Life Church, and $20 gift card from AnnLynn Nutrition.

Third Prize is two will preparation packages from Hightower, Franklin & James.

Tickets are $5 each, and the drawing will be held on May 4.
