Tenaha High School Senior class have received a beautiful quilt handcrafted by Mrs. Vivian Chamberlain. In turn, the Senior Class will give the quilt away at a basketball game on Feb. 18
Mrs. Chamberlain donated the quilt to the senior class in honor of her children, Woody Chamberlain Jr., Sharon Chamberlain Fleming, Patti Chamberlain Story and Jimmy Chamberlain, all Tenaha Alumni.
The quilt features a special monogrammed message in the center: “Tenaha Tigers State Champions Class A 2011.”
Tickets for the quilt will be sold at the varsity basketball games on Jan. 31, Feb. 7, Feb. 10, Feb. 14, and Feb. 18.
Winner of the quilt will be announced at the Boys Playoff Preview basketball game on Feb. 18.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Tenaha High School office during normal school hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
